Moisturising our skin: why is it important?
The human body water content is of approximately 75%, which is why drinking water is important. This is also true for the skin that needs hydrating regularly, through moisturising.
Skin types react differently to hydration and will not require the same type of moisturiser, mostly in terms of moisturising product.
Dry skin looses its water a lot faster than normal or greasy skin, through evaporation. External factors, such as pollution, sunrays, cold, etc., also drain the skin’s moisture.
It is, therefore, very important to hydrate your skin from within, by drinking water, and externally, thanks to skin moisturisers.
There are many different types of moisturisers, all suited to different skin types: use the right type of skin moisturiser and keep your skin healthy, and healthy looking.
