Hair colouring touch-up: when should it be done?
We recommend waiting 4 to 6 weeks before reapplying colour to your hair.
Hair usually grows by 3/4 inches (2 cm) in one month, but as everybody’s hair is different, this growing length is an average indication.
The “right” moment to reapply colour to you hair is when the roots start to really show. Touching-up your hair before 4 to 6 weeks will prove not to be very useful as your roots won’t really show.
When touching-up your hair, it is very important to only apply hair colour to the roots, and not through the length of your hair right away.
Be sure to carefully follow the application instructions found on every hair colouring packaging.
