1 - The sebaceous gland produces excess sebum dilating the pores. We talk about wide or open pores. 2- With the accumulation of dead cells and excess sebum, the pores are obstructed. 3- The sebum oxidises in contact with the air, and blackens: blackheads are formed on the surface of the skin. 4- When the pores are obstructed, bacteria (normally present in the skin flora) proliferate within the accumulation of sebum. This causes skin irritation leading to the formation of spots. The solution: To break this cycle, several combined actions are necessary. 1 – Deep cleansing to purify the pores and the skin 2 – Effective treatment to help regulate the production of sebum and combat bacteria
